Assessment of selected detergents and study of their effect on the tensile properties of fabrics

Washing products belong to one of the largest segments of household products market. There are many products in this group and their contributions change at different rates. Sales of washing products are very stable. However, there is increased search for synthetic washing products alternatives and use of products of natural origin. In this study the effect of selected synthetic and natural detergents on the tensile properties of fabrics was analysed. The study included a self-made washing powder, soap nuts, bicarbonate and two commercial products that differed in price.
